We are available to meet with parents/carers Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
We support children and their families with:

Parenting guidance and support, focusing on how to develop and maintain positive discipline.

Enabling a child with difficulties to talk about concerns in a confidential, non-judgemental environment.

Promoting good mental health.

Helping to build resilience, improve self-esteem, anger management and reducing worries by using agreed strategies to help themselves.

Improving relationships within the family.

Monitoring and promoting good school attendance; this includes working with a child to feel happier coming to school and being in class.

Ensuring that all the pupils can afford the required school uniform.

Guidance towards other sources of help, advice and support.

Signpost to other agencies and having relevant information available.

Working closely with other agencies ensuring that follow-up work is done and all concerned are well informed.

Helping families in crisis situations, for instance bereavement, separation, domestic violence, or sudden financial problems.

Obtaining funding for vulnerable children and families.
